Particularly, this Privacy Policy is applicable to the processing of data that HANDBALL.AI ÖU (hereinafter, “Handball.ai”) carries out through the Websites https://handball.ai/ and https://app.handball.ai (hereinafter, the “Websites”) and/or any other processing activity that may be indicated.
We recommend that you read it carefully before using the Websites or any of the services to which this Privacy Policy applies and before submitting your information through them.

0. Terms and Definitions
- “Personal Data” means any information about an identified or identifiable natural person (the “Data Subject”).
- “Usage Data” means the data collected automatically, about how you use or interact with our Websites or with respect to our services. It may be collected through cookies or other tracking tools (e.g. time spent on each section of the Websites, etc.).
- “Cookies”: as defined in the Cookies Policy.
- “Data Controller” or “Controller” means the natural or legal person, public authority, service or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, Handball.ai is the Controller of your Personal Data.
- “Processor” means any natural or legal person who processes Personal Data on behalf of and for the account of the Controller.
- “Service(s)” means the functionalities or tools contracted to Handball.ai by you.

2. What Criteria Must You Fulfill to Provide Us With Your Personal Data?
2.1. Minimum Age
In order to provide us with your personal data, you must be at least 13 years old and/or, where applicable, have sufficient legal capacity to use the Websites or the Platform. Please note that our services are directed to adults and therefore you must be 18 years of age or older to use our Platform (see section 3.2 for more information).
2.2. Truthfulness
When you provide us with your data to use our Services, you warrant that the data and information you provide is real, true, current and belongs to you and not to any third party. In addition, you must inform us of any changes to the data provided and you are in any case responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of the data provided at all times.

Handball.ai reserves the right to verify your age and identifying information at any time if necessary, including by requiring you to provide official proof of age or an equivalent procedure, and in the event of fraud detection that proves or is suspected that you are under the age stated, to delete, temporarily disable and/or cancel your account.

3.2. When You Register to Use Our Platform
Our platform called Handball.ai (the “Platform”) allows you to track, record, understand and analyse all handball statistics for a match, player, team and season.

- Identifying and contact information: Name, surname, e-mail address, and any other voluntarily included information.
- Professional information: Company name (if applicable), job title.
- Financial / transaction data: Billing address, invoicing details. We use third-party providers for payment processing and do not have direct access to credit card information.
- Usage Data: IP address, device information, browser information, log data (access times, pages visited).
Purposes of Processing
- Create and manage your account and enable you to use the Platform.
- Execute and maintain the contractual relationship, including provision of Services, administrative/fiscal/legal management, handling queries and complaints, sending notifications of changes to Terms of Service or security alerts, and diagnosing and correcting problems.
- Evaluate and develop new features by collecting Usage Data to improve the Service.
- Prevent, detect and act against unlawful activities or breaches of the Platform’s Terms of Service, including fraudulent activities and unauthorized access.
- Sending commercial communications: See section 3.3.
Legal Basis
- Performance of the contract: Processing is necessary for the performance of the contract entered into when you register and contract Handball.ai’s services.
- Legitimate interest: Evaluating and developing new features, prevention of illegal activities and security of the Platform, and sending commercial communications (see section 3.3).

For the duration of the contractual relationship. After unsubscribing, data is kept for the periods required by law. Usage Data is processed for as long as the account is active, unless a shorter period applies per our Cookie Policy.

For the duration of your subscription or the contractual relationship. After unsubscribing, data is kept for the periods required by law.

3.4. Statistical Information
Handball.ai processes data of the players sourced from televised matches, videos uploaded by customers or obtained from third parties and other public sources (like media), for the purpose of carrying out statistical analysis.

Video footage where images/voices of players, coaches, referees, and other personnel involved in matches or training sessions are captured.

- Aggregate player performance metrics such as goals scored, assists and other relevant statistics.
- Create match reports and statistics.
- Create charts, graphs and other graphical representations of data.
This aggregated information may be used for refining training strategies, assessing player development, scouting, talent identification, player recruitment, and providing match results to the public.
Legal Basis
Where Handball.ai acts as a data processor, it processes data as instructed by the data controller. Where data is collected from public or other sources, the legal basis is legitimate interest. When data is obtained from non-public sources, we may also rely on consent from data subjects.
Retention Period
The retention period varies depending on the nature of the data and processing purposes. Generally, data is kept for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

4. With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

5. Are Your Personal Data Transferred to Third Countries Outside the Economic Area?
Some of our service providers are located in countries outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). The location of these companies implies the existence of an international transfer of your personal data, which may result in a lower level of protection than that provided by European legislation.
However, Handball.ai has taken steps to ensure that such transfers do not result in a lower level of protection. Service providers outside the EEA have a valid mechanism for making international transfers:

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

7. How Do We Guarantee the Confidentiality of Your Information?

Handball.ai has implemented all necessary security measures to ensure the effective use and processing of personal data, guaranteeing privacy, confidentiality and integrity, and uses the necessary technical means to prevent alteration, loss, unauthorised access or processing, in accordance with the state of the art.
However, due to the nature of the Internet and the possibility of malicious acts by third parties, it is impossible to guarantee absolute security. We are committed to acting promptly in the event of a breach and to notifying you as appropriate.
8. Changes to This Policy
Handball.ai may modify this Privacy Policy at any time, particularly in the event of changes in legislation, case law or interpretation by competent authorities. Any new version will take effect on the published effective date.
If a revised version includes a material change affecting the processing of your data, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance by posting a notice on our Websites or Platform. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy.
